Our Observership Program
Exposes participants to the different patient touch points in the treatment process at the medical Research Foundation.
Key population preceptorship
The program objective is aimed at improving HIV care for key populations in the Caribbean focusing on comprehensive care and treatment for MSM, transgender people and sex workers. The learning objectives are:
Developing sensitive and effect communication with patients who identify as MSM, transgender people and sex workers.
Taking a targeted health history of patients who identify as MSM, transgender people and sex workers.
Develop effective HIV/AIDs counseling skills for the psychosocial, behavioral, sexual and reproductive issues faced by patients who identify as MSM, transgender people and sex workers.
Provide appropriate referral groups for members of these groups
