The Day clinic provides a full service for all groups and demographics. Our services include consultations/review sessions with the doctors and nurses at the clinic; if you have a question/concern about your medication and its side effects or about your general health you can discuss them during your consultations/review sessions.

At this clinic, you receive high-quality, compassionate care from a multidisciplinary team of physicians, and allied health professionals who are committed to helping you.

Your care team may include a doctor who specializes in infectious diseases who works with:

  • A qualified Registered Nurse, who assists you to achieve and maintain optimum wellness and answers your questions about a wide variety of topics including pregnancy, partner testing, nutrition and adherence to antiretrovirals
  • A Psychologist, who helps you overcome barriers to appropriate medical and psychosocial services
  • A medical social worker with extensive experience working with people who are infected with HIV
  • A pharmacist, who talks with you about and issues medications
