The commitment of the staff of Medical Research Foundation to eliminating new infections and improving the health and well-being of persons living with HIV/AIDS is evident. I was admitted as a patient in 2005, when the Foundation was headed by Professor Courtney Bartholomew. His contributions changed the world of HIV care and I was amazed as I observed the staff “buy-in” to his vision.
The services offered to me was second to none and my fears and embarrassment were alleviated as I became the recipient of confidential, responsive, caring, respectful, non-judgemental and client-centered services. I was embraced and encouraged by the Doctors and Nurses and under their guidance I am now living a healthy life with an undetectable viral load.
I owe my life to dedicated Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the Foundation who has shown through their kindness that love is the cure.
